At La Maison Vivier, the Autumn-Winter 23/24 collection is unveiled
In the Footsteps of the Legendary Vivier Silhouette — At La Maison Vivier, the Autumn-Winter 23/24 collection revisits the extraordinary legacy of Monsieur Vivier, a designer renowned for influencing the style of an era through his creations. In tribute to this heritage, creative director Gherardo Felloni has called for the collection to be presented as a celebratory exhibition and reinterpretation of the Maison’s signature codes. The event is structured around a series of tableaux vivants—living paintings in which models perform static artistic scenes—as well as performances with revolving panel installations and a live demonstration of craftsmanship techniques by the Maison’s artisans.
Shoe couture
The Roger Vivier Autumn-Winter 23/24 collection presents a shift of focus with remarkable, eye-catching accessories that connect closely with the body and define a contemporary silhouette. The collection brings together a number of Haute Couture techniques, including ruffles, draped effects, bows and embroidery. Two key creations perfectly mirror the collection's spirit. The first is the sculptural, ruffled Viv’ Choc Couture thigh-high boot, a feat of craftsmanship with dual-toned, lateral leather ruffles. Curved inward, the signature Choc heel emphasises the boot’s shape. Secondly, we have the Viv’ Choc Me, a new version of the iconic Viv’ Choc bag. This elegant, refined, pleated day bag in soft Nappa lambskin leather features an original origami-like structure.
