The Choc Heel

The Choc Heel

Created by Monsieur Roger Vivier in 1959, the Choc heel pushed the boundaries of balance for women’s footwear. Instead of a straight line, the heel arches inwards, giving it a more concave shape. The curve of the Choc heel softens the sharpness of the stiletto and illustrates the value the Maison puts on femininity.

Today, the Choc heel is ever present in the collection, not just on classic pumps but also on the new Viv’ Run sneakers where Gherardo Felloni paid tribute to this Roger Vivier icon by placing a hidden Choc heel in the sole of the sneakers that gives it that unmistakable curved silhouette.
