Cabana Magazine features four exclusive covers by Gherardo Felloni

Cabana Magazine releases its 13th issue dedicated to the gateway between East and West, with four covers crafted from Roger Vivier prints designed exclusively for this collaboration. This issue’s vibrant covers are the result of a collaboration with Gherardo Felloni, Roger Vivier’s Creative Director, a patron of the arts and avid collector of antique jewelry. “I am very proud of having such a historical French Maison as a cover partner for the 13th issue of the magazine. It’s been thoroughly interesting to collaborate with Roger Vivier’s creative director Gherardo Felloni with whom I share many interests and in particular one for vintage jewelry. May this issue of Cabana bring some joy to our readers in such unprecedented times of uncertainty,” says Cabana editor-in-chief Martina Mondadori

The covers feature Felloni’s interpretations of the Maison’s signature motifs and bold prints – Rose and Leopard. The Rose cover is printed on jacquard fabric with the intricate pattern woven on a special loom reminiscent of the Maison’s ties to haute couture. The leopard print so prominent in the time of Monsieur Vivier, has been updated by Felloni in a lively combination of colours with highlights of pink and yellow, giving this classic archive pattern a modern twist. “This collaboration with Cabana for the special covers is a project that I enjoyed very much. The magazine is all about artisanship, objets d’art and obsessive collections – which I really identify with as I am an avid collector myself! I designed two very graphic motifs for the covers, and it was very interesting to see my designs translated onto print,” Felloni shares on this special project.
