The contemporary spirit of the Belle Vivier
French actress Camille Razat stars in the Belle Vivier campaign for Autumn/Winter 2022: a playful and delicate new portrait of the Roger Vivier woman. In her second collaboration with Roger Vivier, the Emily In Paris star embodies the contemporary spirit of the Belle Vivier, one of the brand’s most iconic footwear models. This cheerful-yet-elegant campaign was shot in Paris by photographer Étienne Baret, Razat’s partner. Friend of the House and its Creative Director Gherardo Felloni, Razat effortlessly exudes carefree, sophisticated Parisian femininity, exalting all its chic style with a touch of humour.
The iconic style
Feminine, sophisticated, timeless. The Belle Vivier is a fashion must-have and one of the iconic models of the House. Its unique silhouette was originally designed by Monsieur Vivier himself in 1965 as part of the Mondrian collection by Yves Saint Laurent. After being immediately adopted by style icons like Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren, the Belle Vivier reached true fame when Catherine Deneuve wore a pair in Luis Buñuel’s movie Belle de Jour. And this low-heel pump with its metal buckle has continued to embody women's sensuality and freedom ever since. An ever-present icon throughout Roger Vivier collections, the Belle Vivier is regularly revisited by Creative Director Gherardo Felloni. Every season, the shoe is reinterpreted to embrace the inspirations of the current collection, all while retaining its powerful, timeless allure. This season, the Belle Vivier comes in either pumps or slingbacks, each in flashy pop colours.
