Roger Vivier presents “Shoes ! Shoes ! Shoes !” a Cinema Vivier production inspired by Creative Director Gherardo Felloni’s love for cinema. Filmed using a vintage reel camera, the film is a witty and humorous throwback to 1910, before the era of television, when French filmmaker Charles Pathé introduced a unique style of cinematic journalism that combined information and entertainment. People would go every week to the movie theater to watch the news, which covered everything from world events to unusual hobbies and eccentric lifestyles.

An homage to the golden age of Parisian fashion, when shows and fittings took place at the Maison, “Shoes ! Shoes ! Shoes !” reveals the secrecy of the atelier where products of the designer’s imagination are brought to life. The model, Pauline Jacquard, takes a walk to show off the new collection in front of our designer and his stylist, played by French theater performer Angéle Micaux. One by one, she models a distinct selection of styles from the collection, until finally, the Maison’s eternal muse, the inimitable Ines de la Fressange, makes her grand entrance – showing them how one embodies Vivier style.

“Shoes ! Shoes ! Shoes !” highlights key pieces from the Fall-Winter 2019 collection. Among them are the Courbette Bow pumps, made with an oversized, detachable satin bow and the new I Love Vivier pumps with a leopard print and a low kitten heel. Another fashion favorite, the Viv’ Tex boots, are also featured in the film. The Viv’ Tex features a distinctly curved heel, inspired by the Choc heel created by Monsieur Vivier in 1959. Fall-Winter 2019’s bag of the season, the Beau Vivier, is featured, as well. A new icon for Roger Vivier, the bag has sleek and structured shape, together with elegant details, such as the iconic buckle, that make the Beau Vivier a wardrobe classic.
