The flamboyant Susan Sarandon embodies the role of a demanding drama teacher who stands out for her theatrical prowess, her obsession for shoes and her trusty dog, Tuna. Among her group of students, AnnaSophia Robb turns out to be the most promising, but alongside her acting skills, she knows how to express her stylish side dressed in Roger Vivier – a fact that does not escape her mentor. As the class obviously struggles with their three lessons: laughter, speech and accents, the plot takes a comedic turn. “Jewels to Shoes” is definitely a humorous and very imaginative setting to unveil the collection this Fall/Winter season.
