The Spring/Summer 2022 collection showcases a bold spirit combined with the Maison's expert craftsmanship and distinct savoir faire. Creative Director Gherardo Felloni reimagines emblematic creations, such as gladiator sandals, in metallic gold with two-toned crystals that adorn the straps and an oversized crystal buckle. Each crystal is carefully placed by hand, each leather strap cut with precision for this creation made with precise skill. The collection walks a fine, precious line between antiquity and science fiction. The Viv' Choc is, once again, brought to center stage in a variety of materials and joyful colors. Expertly hand crafted in Italy, the new Viv’ Choc styles are a combination of tradition and innovation. Its newest permutations explore diverse materials, patterns and designs, staying true to the Maison’s codes of creativity, rarity and exclusivity with the new jewel buckle at the center of each exquisite masterpiece.
Other key pieces for the season include the Cube Strass heel and the Viv' Go-Thick Loafer. The Cube Strass is an homage to the iconic boule strass heel created for Marlene Dietrich, now reinterpreted in a geometric shape, paved with crystals. The loafers take its cue from the punk phenomenon that shaped fashion in the '50s. The pieces of jewelry assert cat designs. Like a reference to Duo des chats, Rossini’s mischievous opera aria that imitates cats meowing. Just for fun, because today’s world really needs some.
