A Sense of Delight
For Fall/Winter 2021, creative Director Gherardo Felloni offers a collection that reflects a sense of delight. Featuring shoes, bags and accessories that embody the Maison's spirit of creativity and playfulness, it is a signal that the time has come to have some fun. He expresses “fashion and accessories as a way to ward off the gloom” and designed a new, bold and charming collection for Fall, worn by his muse for the season, French actress and director Aïssa Maïga.
The collection features the Vivier Choc Boots - knee-high boots with a stiletto heel, a platform and the emblematic buckle, hand crafted in patent leather. The silhouette is inspired by a pair of shoes that Monsieur Vivier created for Jeanne Moreau in the film La Grande Catherine, reimagined by Gherardo Felloni in boots and sexy sling back platform pumps, with tone-on-tone buckles
The Jewel of the Collection
To accompany the sensuality of the boots, he also created the jewel of the collection – the Viv’ Choc Bag. The new bag is a tribute to the Choc heel created by Monsieur Vivier in 1959. Inspired by desire and the minimalist silhouettes characterized by the 90s, Gherardo Felloni designed this Choc buckle as an essential accessory. It is a reinterpretation of the signature buckle as contemporary and sensational new jewel.
Adding vibrance to the collection is a vivid shade of blue, one of the key colors of the season, highlighted in iconic styles such as the Flower Strass pump and clutch. In the Roger Vivier Fall/Winter 2021 collection each piece is unique and each one is remarkably elegant.
